Mrs. Banks:

Mrs. Banks is beyond excited to meet and work with you and your children this school year! She feels privileged to have started her teaching career in Baltimore County by opening Mays Chapel Elementary in 2014. Mrs. Banks graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in psychological studies. Mrs. Banks is from the Eastern Shore and is elated to be sharing her love of teaching in counties other than where she grew up. In her free time, Mrs. Banks enjoys traveling, cooking, attending as many Washington Capitals and Nationals games as possible, and spending time with her husband, family, and beagle puppy, Penny.

Mrs. Ewell:

Ms. Ewell feels excited and fortunate to have had the opportunity to open Mays Chapel Elementary School and to continue this journey with all of the students and staff! In 2013, she was selected to help write math curriculum that was published through a grant program funded by NSA. She lives in Riderwood with her two children, Reese and Sadie, and her own Labrador, Roxy and cat, Mango. She spends most of her free time with her children's activities and enjoys swimming, reading, and being outdoors mostly at the beach!

Mrs. Pawlak has been teaching in Baltimore County since 2013. Originally from South Carolina, she received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Lander University. She also has her master's degree in reading from Towson University. She believes that every student should walk into the classroom with a clean slate and a fresh start! Outside of teaching, Mrs. Pawlak enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephew, being outdoors, loving on her pets, and cheering on the Ravens and Orioles.

Mrs. Weis is excited to begin another fantastic year at Mays Chapel. She grew up in a small town in Central New York and moved down to Texas for college where she graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015. Mrs. Weis lives in Towson with her husband, Michael and son, Hudson. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending Baltimore Orioles games, traveling, crafting, and baking.
