Originally from South Jersey, Mrs. Maietta began her teaching career in 2007 for Prince George’s County Public Schools, teaching 1st and 2nd grades before coming to Baltimore County in 2012. Before coming to Mays Chapel in 2016, she spent 4 years teaching at Edmondson Heights Elementary, 1 year in reading reduction and 3 years in Kindergarten. When not teaching, Mrs. Maietta enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter and trying to get back into running. She loves being part of Team Mays! (If you were wondering how to pronounce her name it’s My-etta.)
