Media Specialist


Mrs. Jaeger:

  Mrs. Jaeger began her teaching career in 2009 with Baltimore County after graduating from Towson University with her degree in Elementary Education. Before joining Mays Chapel, Mrs. Jaeger taught at Shady Spring Elementary School, where she was a fifth grade classroom teacher for two years, and a third grade teacher for five years. When not at school, Mrs. Jaeger loves running and has ran several marathons, including the Boston Marathon. She also enjoys biking and spending time at the beach with family and friends. Mrs. Jaeger is eager to begin fostering a love for learning, reading, and collaborative research for students in the Mays Chapel library media center.

Instrumental Music

Mrs. Hise:  
 
Ms. Hise has been sharing her love for music in the Baltimore County Schools for 21 years. Creating a students centered, dynamic, and rigorous learning environment is what Ms. Hise does best. She started her first elementary level jazz band in 1996 at Owings Mills Elementary and has seen how students engage with the love of jazz and improvisation. Ms. Hise's formal education began at Towson University where she majored in Music Education while studying the French Horn. She also has a masters degree from Towson in Human Resource Development with a concentration in Educational Leadership. Ms. Hise enjoys spending time with her family and has two sons, ages 1 and 4. In addition to music and composing/arranging, Ms. Hise enjoys biking, hiking, and golf.

 

Physical Education

Mr. Loyd:

Mr. Loyd has been a teacher in Baltimore County since 20004. His tenure of teaching started at Pikesville middle school where he taught 8th grade science.  After 2 years, he moved to Cedarmere elementary school where he served as the physical education teacher for the school for 8 years. His cooperative mindset and goals of life long fitness and wellness, shape his philosophies of Physical education.  Mr. Loyd’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University in Outdoor Education and his Master’s degree from Towson in Science Education. When Mr. Loyd is outside of the school building, he you will likely find him either rock climbing, swimming or most likely playing music.

Vocal Music

Mrs. Marsh:

Mrs. Marsh is thrilled to be teaching at Mays Chapel! Teaching since 2012, Mrs. Marsh strives to create a music classroom that is sequential, meaningful, and joyful! When not at school, Mrs. Marsh is hanging out with her family and listening to musical soundtracks!

 

Art

Mrs. O’Reilly:

Mrs. O’Reilly has been teaching art at Hawthorne Elementary school in Middle River for the past ten years. She began her teaching career with Baltimore County at Old Court Middle School. Prior to this time, she taught preschool Montessori and managed an after school art program in Dublin, Ireland. Mrs. O’Reilly received a Bachelor’s of Art from McDaniel College in 2000. She is an advocate of arts integration and believes that seamlessly weaving art within the core subject areas enhances creativity, nourishes critical thinking and motivates the students to take risks. Outside of the classroom Mrs. O’Reilly enjoys photography, ceramics and especially spending time with her family, including her two very active young boys and husband.

Mrs. Wolinski:

Mrs. Wolinski has been in Early Childhood Education for over twenty years. She holds a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University as a Reading Specialist. Her Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson University is in Early Childhood with Special Education. Mrs. Wolinski is also certified to teach art. She is married, a mom of five, a gardener, artist, reader, and traveler.  Mrs. Wolinski joined the special area team at Mays Chapel in 2016 as an art educator.
