Mrs. Eccleston accepted the responsibility of administrative secretary at Mays Chapel Elementary School with boundless enthusiasm and honor. Following a wonderful time as a stay-at-home mom, she began a career with BCPS that spans over 23 years and began with the Infants and Toddlers Program at Chatsworth School. She then spent 18 years as the administrative secretary at Cedarmere Elementary School in Reisterstown. Along the way she worked with caring, dedicated families and staff who deeply enriched her life. Now Mrs. Eccleston looks forward, with great exuberance, to forging new relationships and, most especially, working with the children, families and staff who will make up the Mays Chapel school community. On the personal side, Mrs. Eccleston will absolutely beam with delight if you ask about her two young grandsons. They are, without a doubt, her pride and joy. Another youngster who keeps her active is her loveable puppy, Maggie, a rambunctious Labrador with a zest for life who definitely keeps her family on their toes! Rounding out Mrs. Eccleston’s immediate family are her husband and children. Mrs. Eccleston loves to read and spend time outdoors. Although she will profess to not having a “green thumb”, she loves to garden in her spare time.
